Captured ship: St Peter of Hamburg (master Christopher Gillery or Anthony Philipps) [first capture].
History: a Hamburg merchant ship (90 tons) bound from Hamburg to Tenerife, laden with pipestaves; taken on 4/14 November 1691 off the Scilly Isles by the French privateer Victoire (Delionnais Grane commanding), retaken on 9/19 November 1691 off Guernsey by HMS Dover (Edward Whitaker commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
