History: a Swedish merchant ship (200 tons) bound from Stockholm to La Rochelle, laden with vitriol, tar, deal board, and copper thread; taken on 17/27 July 1696 off Sark by HMS Lark (Charles Strickland commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
