Description

Russian War: Prize Appeals before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.

Cause papers for Appeal No 27.

Captured ship: the Hamburg ship Lisette (master Scholditsch) and her cargo, seized in port (to the Lord Admiral's use) by J E Burt, an officer of HM Customs of the port of London.

Theatre of war: home waters.

Appellant: Oldrey, for the ship.

Respondent: the Official Solicitor and Townsend.
