Folios 185-187. Copy of a letter from [Reverend] J [John] Duncombe, dated at Canterbury [Kent]. Enclosing: Folio 186. Information of Thomas Holbourn, constable of Hawborough; Edward Dunk, bossholder; John Knowles, yeoman; Thomas Green, glover; all of Herne [Bay] [Kent]. They allege Thomas Taylor, mariner, with others, attempted to recover goods seized by John Barber and Nicholas Pope, revenue officers in Beltinge Bay. Folio 187. Copy of an information from John Hopper, cordwainer, dated on 26 October 1779, giving an information against Francis Chandler, as above.
