Folios 43-44. Draft of a letter to [John] Robinson, dated at St James's, concerning Dutch complaints over the seizure by customs of a cargo of oil of turpentine from aboard the 'Duke of York', Walter Wilcox master. The oil is the property of Messrs Coysgarne and Lloyd, who were shipping it from Rotterdam [Netherlands] to London, but it is suspected of being the produce of France. The incident is the subject of a memorial from the States General [of Holland] submitted by [ambassador] Count Welderen, and the recipient is ordered to place the paperwork before the Lords of the Treasury.
