Captured ship: Mary of Larwick [Larvik] (master Peter Lorentsen) [first capture].
History: a Danish Norwegian merchant ship (20 lasts) bound from Larvik, Norway to the Isle of Wight, laden with deals, spars, handspikes; taken during the summer of 1691 by HMS Ruby (Frederick Froud commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth.
Documents:- no surviving papers.
[Decision: ship and cargo restored, 20 August 1691].
