Description

Captured ship: Marquis de Tourlaville of Cherbourg (commander Charles Losieux).

History: a French privateer (70 tons, 14 guns), bound from Cherbourg on a cruise; taken during July or August 1696 by HMS Dover (William Cross commanding), and brought into Dartmouth.
