Captured ship: Maria Sea Star of Ostend (master Tomas Becu).
History: a Spanish Netherlands merchant ship (flyboat, 320 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Ostend, laden with brandy and wine; taken on 8/18 June 1689 off Ushant by the privateer St David (Thomas Graydon commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
