Captured ship: Maria of Swieta (master Jan Versteven).
History: a Polish merchant ship (190 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Ostend, laden with brandy and wine; taken on 17/27 June 1689 off Cap de la Hague by the Dutch warship Croon Voghel (Edward Rigoot commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
