Captured ship: Margaret of Calais (master Jean Baptiste Tesson).
History: a French merchant ship (20 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Calais, laden with wine and turpentine; taken on 25 January / 4 February 1692/3 off Guernsey by the privateer Mary Sloop (John Tupper commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
