Captured ship: Sainte Marguerite or Margaret (master Gaspar Sobeire).
History: a French merchant ship bound from Alcason [Archacon ?] to Lisbon, laden with pitch and biscake [resin cake?]; taken during 1697 by the packet boat Spanish Alliance (John Hutchins commanding), and brought into Corunna (the Groyne).
