History: an English merchant ship (250 tons) bound from Newcastle upon Tyne to London, laden with coals; taken first on 24 April / 3 May 1692 by a French privateer, retaken on 27 April / 6 May 1692 at by HMS Mermaid ([Thomas Sherman] commanding), and brought into Harwich.
