Captured ship: St Marguerite or St Margaret or Santa Margareta of Marseilles (master Francisco Mometo or Manito).
History: a French or Genoese ship (450 tons, 4 guns, 126 men, some were perhaps passengers) bound from Le Havre to La Rochelle and then to Lisbon or Genoa, in ballast; taken on 5/15 July 1693 off Île-de-Batz by HMS Mary (John Jennings commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
