Description

Captured ship: Magdalen (master Michel Marie).

History: a French merchant ship (25 tons), laden with burstones, plaster, window glass and lanterns; taken on 4/14 April off St Briac by the privateer Andrew (Andrew Bonamy commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
