Captured ship: Delight of Clovelly (master George Pollard).
History: an English merchant ship (35 tons) bound from Tenby to Clovelly, laden with coals; taken by the French privateer Postillion of St Malo (Henry Arsung commanding) on 9/19 May 1692 off the Isle of Lundy, after the crew of the Delight had fled ashore; retaken on 10/20 May off Lands End by the fishing vessel Catherine, which was crewed by 'twelve men, well armed', and brought into Newlyn.
