Captured ship: Date Tree or Palm Tree of Rotterdam (master Hendricke Lambrightsen).
History: a Dutch merchant ship (100 tons) bound from Rotterdam to Terceira, the Azores, laden with iron bars, deal boards, pickled herring, flax, pipestaves, powder, shot, candles, cheese, ropes; taken on 4/14 January 1691/2 by the privateer Expedition (Aaron Depuy commanding), and brought into Dover.
