History: a Danish (Norwegian) merchant ship (100 tons) bound from Nantes to Dronten in Norway [Trondheim], laden with salt; taken on 27 June / 7 July 1689 off Torbay by the Dutch warship Vrede (Peter van Laren commanding) [given as Freedom, Peter Van Laar], and brought into Plymouth.
