Captured ship: St Jacob of Stockholm (master Henrick Kuees).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (120 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Stockholm, laden with wine and molasses; taken on 20/30 July 1697 off Ushant by HMS Henrietta (John Robinson commanding) part of Admiral Rooke's squadron, and brought into Plymouth.
