Folios 269-272: John Tremayne Rodd, HMS Bonetta, Plymouth Sound. Reports the arrival of HMS Bonetta in consequence of orders received from Captain Rowley of HMS Hussar, with the Earl of Mansfield, Mast Ship, under convoy from St Johns Bay of Fundy. Adds that the Ann empty transport sail also under his convoy and from the negligence of the Master in not obeying the signals made him parted in a fog in the Bay of Fundy.
Folio 271: enclosure with folios 269-272. Report dated 12 October 1796 in regards to the defects of HMS Bonetta, Plymouth Sound, signed by John Tremayne Rodd and Christopher Green, Carpenter.
