Folios 251-253: Mark Robinson, HMS Arethusa at Spithead. Reports giving orders as instructed to HMS Quebec. Weather still poor and in consequence of the very great demand for beer and water at this port requests permission to proceed with HMS Arethusa and HMS Topaze to Cowes in the Isle of Wight where he has no doubt that he will be able to complete the water of both ships and then be able to take advantage of the first moderate weather to put to sea.
