Folios 234-235: Bartholomew Roberts, HMS Espiegle, Yarmouth. Reports his arrival from the River Elbe in company with the Active sloop of Folkestone laden with spirits and tobacco for the coast of Scotland. Explains why he brought the Active in and the measures he took to do so.
Folio 236: enclosure with folios 234-235. Protection certificate for Edmond Warman for 23 July to 12 August 1795.
Folio 237: enclosure with folios 234-235. Protection certificate for Thomas Graves for 6 June to 3 July 1794.
