Captured ship: Golden Sun of Hamburg (master Peter Michaels).
History: a Hamburg merchant ship (42 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Hamburg, laden with wine and brandy; taken on 28 July / 7 August 1690 off Ushant by the Dutch warship Grijp (Jan Laurents commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
