Description

Captured ship: St George of Copenhagen (master Jan/Hans Jansen Alsing).

History: a Danish merchant ship (51 lasts) bound from Langesund , Norway to St Martin, laden with deals, and spars; taken on 31 December 1693 / 10 January 1693/4 off Dover by the privateer Experiment (John Powell commanding), and brought into Dover.
