Description

Captured ship: François Seraphique of St Malo (master Yvon le Bolloche).

History: a French merchant ship (30 tons) bound from Le Croisic to St Brieuc, laden with salt; taken on 2/12 December 1693 off the Isle de Batz by the privateer Monmouth Galley (John Tupper commanding) and brought into Guernsey.
