Captured ship: Ste Francoise of Dieppe (master David Yvart).
History: a French merchant ship (50 tons) bound from Dieppe to Bordeaux, in ballast; taken during July or August by the privateer Durell Galley (Edward Browne commanding) and brought into Jersey.

- [CP 1]: attestation that the ship was captured along with the ships Holy Spirit or St Esprit (master Guillaume Binbault) and Notre Dame de Dieppe (master Louis Binet).

[Decision: ship condemned 13 August 1697].
