Captured ship: Flanders Merchant of Exeter (master Gideon Andrews).
History: an English merchant ship (50 tons) bound from Plymouth to Newfoundland, laden with hats, shoes, stockings, coats, waistcoats, lycloth and kersies; taken [by the French?], retaken during 1692 by HMS Deptford (William Carr commanding) and brought into Torbay.
