Captured ship: Fides of Kristiansand (master Pieter Hansen).
History: a Danish Norwegian merchant ship (50 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Kristiansand, laden with wine and brandy; taken during September 1691 by the privateers Elizabeth and Catherine (William Young commanding) and Postillion (Henry Martin commanding) and brought into the Downs.
