Description

Captured ship: Fides or Troen Copenhagen (master Erasmus Steffensen Dolmer).

History: a Danish merchant ship (77 lasts) bound from Copenhagen to St Martin de Re, laden with deal boards; taken on 30 June 1694 off Beachy Head by HMS Elizabeth (Robert Wilmot commanding) and brought into the Downs.
