Captured ship: La Fidele of Nantes (master Jean Prousteau).
History: a French privateer (90 tons, 10 guns) bound from Nantes on a cruise; taken on 7/17 August 1693 off Cape Cornwall by HMS St Albans (Thomas Guillam commanding) and brought first into Kinsale and then into Plymouth.
