Petition of the Committee for the Protection of Trade and Manufacturies at Manchester [Lancashire] seeking redress against English privateers predating on neutral vessels laden with cotton from Grenada, the Grenadines, St Vincent and Tobago [West Indies]. Folio 450. Copy of minutes, with the opinion of their Lordships [?the Privy Council] concerning the produce of captured islands transported in neutral ships, suggesting that governors should write to the Court of the Admiralty.
