Folios 393-396. A letter from J Lowe to William Knox, dated at Customs House, London. Enclosing: Folio 394. A letter from John Tim [Timothy] Swainson and Rd [Richard] Laming, dated at Customs [?House], Margate [Kent]. They have 'sent up' for inspection a large packet of letters, sent from Ostend [Austrian Netherlands] and addressed to recipients in Demerary [Demarara] and Issequibo [Essequibo], which is a 'new acquisition' [from Dutch Guianas, Guyana]. Folio 395. A letter from Thos [Thomas] Willett, concerning a packet which has arrived for Mr William King, from Messrs Mordock and Company, Ostend ], containing lace.
