Folios 359-363. A letter from the Earl of Hillsborough to the Attorney General and Solicitor, dated at St James's [Middlesex] concerning [Henry] Laurens, prisoner in the Tower of London. Seeks their opinion whether he can be admitted to bail, to drink the Bath [Somerset] waters. Folio 360-361. Copy of a letter from Jas [James] Wallace to Hillsborough approving Lauren's bail. Folio 362-363. Wallace to Hillsborough and Viscount Stormont, advising that Lauren's enlargement 'must depend upon the honorary engagement of the prisoner'.
