Benyon has detained Michael [McCarroll] alias [Michael] Mullins, John McCarroll alias [John] Mullins, and Margaret McCarroll alias [Margaret] Mullins, at Chelmsford [Essex]. Folio 228. Affidavit of Margaret McCarol, wife of Michael McCarol, private, relating the circumstances of McBride's murder, at Folough Haren, Ireland. John McCarol was resisting arrest, after fleeing his master, John Macbride [McBride] of Irrighill [?Errigal], County Tyrone. Folio 229. Affidavit of Robert Cash, a private in the 45th Regiment of Foot.
