A letter from W Knox to Sir Stanier Porten, dated at Whitehall [Middlesex] concerning the capture of the Spanish [Portuguese] corvette 'La Sangrada Familia', Jose [Josef] [Joseph] de Lemos Vidall, commander, circa 20 September 1780 near Cape St Vincent, by the 'Baffler' [?'Buffalo'] cutter of Lancaster [Lancashire]. It was sailing from Cadiz [Spain] for Carill [Galicia], near Santiago de [Compostela] Galicia. Chevalier Pinto has registered a complaint.
