Folio 78. A letter from Andw [Andrew] Crotty, dated at Bath [Somerset] concerning Diggs, 'a genl [general] to the rebel congress'. He is dividing his time between Bath, and Bristol [Gloucestershire] where he has been buying cloth and other articles needed for army use. He is receiving letters from Plymouth [Devon], and Crotty has spoken about it to the postmaster, who has written to Mr [?Anthony] Todd [?secretary to the post office].
