Captured ship: Concord of London (master John Brooking).
History: an English ship (60 tons), bound from Livorno to Bristol, laden with oil, soap, rice, currants, pitch and wines; on 24 July / 4 August 1693 the ship hit a rock called the Runner Stone off Lands End and all of the crew except the master abandoned the ship; the master then declared their distress to Henry Jones of Penrose, Deputy Vice Admiral of North Cornwall, meanwhile HMS St Albans looted the ship, but the master and Jones returned in time to stop them and made them tow the ship into St Ives.
