Captured ship: St Clement of Pornic (master Jean Giraud).
History: a French merchant ship (50 tons), bound from Pornic to Nantes, laden with wine and brandy; taken on 21 February / 2 March 1689/90 off Alderney by the privateer Hare (Clement Loumer commanding), and brought into Guernsey.
