Folios 184-185. Letter dated at St James's from Lord Hillsborough to the Mayor of Bath [Somerset] expressing surprise that neither he nor the other Secretary of State has received 'any notice or account of the riots and seditious proceedings of a violent and outrageous mob' in Bath and hoping that the mayor will not neglect to give a daily account of events. With the letter Hillsborough says he is sending copies of the proclamations and handbills published in London during the riots there for the mayor to have printed in Bath and distributed if he thinks this would be of use.
