Note dated at Whitehall Saturday night from Lord Amherst to Lord Stormont that Lord Sandwich has just received several of the proclamations by which Amherst does not want Stormont to think that the officers have not been acquainted with the Orders of Council when in fact all the commands in the different parts of England had the Orders sent to them.
