The Information of William Hay gentleman of St Dunstan's in the West, taken on oath before Lords and [the Earl of] Hillsborough, about the activities of Lord George Gordon both at meetings of the Protestant Association at which Gordon officiated as president and where he' endeavoured to inflame the minds of the persons present, by declaring to them publicly and openly, that as Protestants they had the right to insist on the repeal of the late Act made for the relief of Roman Catholics; and had a good cause to defend, and had a legal right to wear arms' and after at the gathering in St George's Fields.
