Hastily written draft of a letter to the magistrates attending at the offices in ?Bow Street and Litchfield Street 'As the information we have just received gives great reason to apprehend that the riots which are already begun in the City will extend to the part of the town within your jurisdiction and that outrages are intended against the houses of the Duke of Norfolk, Lord Petre and other Roman Catholics we think it proper to give you the earliest notice of this information relying upon the continuance of the activity and zeal which you have already exerted'.
