Draft of a letter dated at St James's to 'My Lord [?Lord Amherst] that is the clear opinion of some of the civil magistrates that it will be impracticable to keep the peace unless there is a very considerable body of horse guards which they can call on and therefore requesting his assistance in procuring them. Justice Addington, Clare Market and Mr Rainford [?Rainforth] are mentioned.
