Folio 95. Letter dated at Newgate from Thos [Thomas] Wallis and Robt [Robert] Sangster to Edmund Burke that they were sentenced at Hicks's Hall to six months imprisonment and to stand in the pillory near Charing Cross. They seek his intercession to have 'that scandalous part' of their sentence taken off and their friends and families not be branded by association. Endorsed 'In the Attorney-General's of 17 April 1780'.
