Folios 88-90. Folio 88. Letter dated at the Rotation Office, Litchfield Street [London] from Geo [George] Reid to Lord Hillsborough enclosing the Minutes of the meeting of the magistrates for the City and Liberty of Westminster and county of Middlesex at the Guildhall at Westminster on Thursday 6 April 1780. He says that from his observations at the Hall it appeared that there were ten or twelve hundred assembled 'among whom there was not the least disposition to tumult or disorder and indeed by far the greatest part seemed to take no share at all in the several matters agitated there'.
