Folios 68-69. Letter dated at St James's from Lord Hillsborough to the Attorney and Solicitor-General that the King having read their report on the article in Brewman's Public Ledger desires that they begin a prosecution without delay against the printer and publisher of the paper. Hillsborough says he has reason to believe the King would prefer the proceeding by way of indictment, if they have no objection.
