Investors in People UK was formed in 1993 to provide business leadership and development for the investors in people standard, and to lead and undertake national promotion of the standard. The earliest snapshots in this series date from when it was the responsibility of the DIUS before becoming a non-departmental public body which receives funding from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) from June 2009.
