Folios 289-291. A memorandum considering the publication of the records of parliament, with two questions: 'what is the precise idea of a record of parliament'; and 'the authenticity and relevancy of the records'. The document is endorsed: '[Sir William] Blackstone's papers'. A separate note attached, states that the document was a 'manuscript of Archbishop Wake left by him to the Library of Christchurch, Oxford [Oxfordshire]'. [As Wake died in 1737, this attached note represents a dating anomaly.]
