Folios 274-275. Copy of an opinion from the law officers that a prosecution of the printer and author of 'The Crisis' [issue] number 3 [published on 4 February 1775] would be justified. The printer [Samuel] Axtell, and the author [William] More [Moore], formerly author of the 'Whisperer', lived in the same house as the informer against them, a quack doctor named Samuel Appletre, who is Irish. Signed by Ed [Edward] Thurlow and Al [Alexander] Wedderburn.
