A letter from the Earl of Poulett, dated at Hinton [House, Hinton St George, Somerset] concerning French prisoners of war in Okehampton [Devon] who complain of being insulted by the 'lower rank of the inhabitants'. Enclosing: Folio 236-237. A letter from George Bickford, dated at Dunsland near Hatherly [?Hatherleigh, Devon] on 22 October 1778, mentioning Mr Gullot. Folio 238. Another letter from Bickford, dated at Dunsland, on 17 October 1778. Folios 239-244.
