Folio 166. A further letter from Edm [Edmund] Elsden to Ant [Anthony] Chamier, dated at [King's] Lynn [Norfolk] concerning the capture and ransom of the vessel 'Patty' [at Ferrol, circa September 1777] and the detention of the ransomer [James Grice]. A general at Coruna [Galicia, Spain] has advised that 'Cunningham's vessel lay at Bilbao [Basque] deserted by the crew on some dispute regarding the prize money'.
